Problem Solved – Suckerfish Dropdown Menu won’t enable

Goto Module Manager and create a new menu and in parameter select the menu name to be shown in the “hornav” position (Eg: Main Menu).

>  Select “No” for the module “Show Title”.
>  Select “hornav” for the module “Position”.
> Select “No” for parameter “Always show sub-menu Items
> Select “List” for parameter “Menu Style” Right Side

Save the new menu.

Remove: Joomla! is Free Software released under the GNU/GPL License.


After searching….here is the solution to remove “Joomla! is Free Software released under the GNU/GPL License” from Joomla1.5 footer:

> go to the core files

> modules\mod_footer\tmpl\default.php

Line #4 either comment it or delete it as you wish.

Save it!

>> One another way

Go to the core files >> Languages >> en-GB >> en-GB.mod_footer.ini

You will find following codes there, modify here:

FOOTER_LINE1=Copyright © %date% %sitename%. All Rights Reserved.
FOOTER_LINE2=Joomla! is Free Software released under the GNU/GPL License.

THIS MODULE SHOWS THE JOOMLA! COPYRIGHT INFORMATION=This Module shows the Joomla! Copyright information
